Elementary School
Hope teachers are dedicated to helping our students discover the joy of learning by providing structure and stimulation where students can develop creativity and build critical thinking skills. Our teachers strive to meet individual needs of each elementary school student while making learning fun.
Our curriculum
Our elementary school is based on a curriculum consistent with current research, exemplary practices, and high national standards. We provide a national level course of study, working each student one year above grade level. Knowing that reading is the basis for success in all subjects across the board, it is of highest priority in our early elementary curriculum, though math, science and technology and foreign language are also of precedence. Our curriculum also provides opportunities that strengthen listening skills, study skills, test taking and note taking skills, organizational skills, conflict resolution abilities and higher order thinking.
